Dr. Aleksandra Skorobogatova was born in Moscow, Russia to a veterinary family. With dogs always around, she developed her passion for animals early. Soon thereafter, she moved to the Bronx and continued hanging out in animal hospitals and collecting pets of her own.
While at the Bronx High School of Science, Dr. Skorobogatova turned her sights on veterinary school and was admitted to the University College Dublin School of Veterinary Medicine in Dublin, Ireland. Her interests include surgery, internal medicine, nutrition, and preventative medicine.
When not sporting scrubs, Dr. Skorobogatova enjoys hiking, swimming, traveling, and riding horses. She and her partner live in Astoria, with an elderly cat, Niko, and two wire-haired dachshunds puppies, Bonnie and Clyde.
