Dr. Christina Marino is a Colorado native who received her veterinary medical degree from The Ohio State University. She completed postdoctoral internship and residency training at North Carolina State University and the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Completing the rigorous requirements and examinations, she is a board-certified small animal internal medicine specialist. She is certified in dialysis for companion animals and has many years training in ultrasound and echocardiogram techniques. She started her own mobile internal medicine and diagnostic imaging business which brought care directly to the general practices in the Philadelphia area. She also worked in several larger specialty practices around Philadelphia and New York. Dr. Marino recently moved to Manhattan and now enjoys her job at Riverside Animal Hospital which allows her to bring her specialty knowledge to a general practice while also getting to use her diagnostic imaging skills.
Her interests include, but are not limited to, kidney disease, autoimmune diseases and anything cats. Though she loves internal medicine, she also has a passion for emergency medicine and surgery. She loves to teach, and has presented at several local CE events. When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she is spending time with her husband (also a veterinarian) and 3 cats. She enjoys living in Manhattan and experiencing all the joys this big city has to offer! She also loves traveling, cooking, and being an avid Buckeye fan.
